    Shipping information

    It depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout. Within Sweden we usually deliver within 1-3 working days. Outside Sweden it takes 2-7 working days.

    Returns

    To cancel a purchase email us at info@hickap.com with the order number in question. If it is in direct connection with the order, this is rarely a problem. However, if there is a longer period of time between placing the order and wanting to cancel the purchase, your order may already be packed and shipped. Our warehouse will do everything they can to stop the order but in some cases it may have already been shipped. Our warehouse handles thousands of orders every day so sometimes it can be difficult to stop an order that has been sitting for a long time.

    If an order has been shipped or you have received your order and want to cancel your purchase, this is of course possible. Read more under right of withdrawal. Keep in mind that the shipping cost and the cost of return will be deducted from the amount refunded. Even if the cancellation is made within a few hours of placing the order. The cost of stopping an order already shipped is higher than a return cost.

    The right of withdrawal still only applies to unused brushes and products.

    Returns are at your own expense unless the item is faulty or we have packed it incorrectly. Returns should be sent by letter or parcel. Contact us at info@hickap.com

    Unfortunately, there can be careless handling in shipping which can shorten the life of the product. We also cannot know how they are handled after receipt. Therefore, we would like you to check your products carefully upon receipt / unpacking so that nothing has happened during shipping. When buying makeup brushes, you should also check extra during the first 30 days from receipt and take care of the brushes frequently. Should hidden damages appear, they will do so during normal frequent use in the first 30 days. We can then send out new goods or refund up to the value of the product. Please note. Shipping costs are not normally refunded. Should hidden defects appear after 30 days, we can only offer replacement value up to the value of the product on future purchases, so-called store credit. Email us at info@hickap.com and we will resolve the matter. 

    All exchanges are handled as a return where the amount of the item is credited and you as a customer can place a new order.

    You need to be quick! If you want to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We are pretty quick to pack your order and it can only be changed as long as your order has not already been shipped.

    All products are dermatologically tested on sensitive skin and are suitable for all skin types unless otherwise stated.

    Yes, all products are 100% vegan.

    Yes, all products are free of PFAS, silicone, sulfate and paraben.

    Hickap's skincare products are based on moisturizing, protective and balancing ingredients, which the skin benefits from even during pregnancy when dryness and extra sensitivity are common. Even the products that contain mildly exfoliating acids are gentle enough to be used if you are pregnant. Most products are also fragrance-free. If you are pregnant and want to avoid perfume completely Hydra-Hyaluronic 24H Dream Cream, Honey Glow Priming Moisturizer, It’s All Clear Cleansing Gel, Moisture Release Face Mist and Preppy Prime Setting Spray mildly perfumed.

    Hickap's products are designed for anyone who wants a stress-free beauty routine that is associated with joy and motivation. Taking care of your skin and yourself should be fun and energizing.

    All products are fragrance-free or very mildly scented.

    We are very sorry if you have had an unwanted reaction from any of our products.

    Hickap's Skincare products are tested and classified as skin-friendly (even for sensitive skin) according to the EU-approved Cosmetics Europe (formerly COLIPA) standard. The tests are carried out under the supervision of a dermatologist and there are no animal tests.

    All products are approved in the EU and manufactured according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) - a standard that ensures safety, safe ingredients and good quality control.

    Our goal is to create products that are so gentle on the skin that no one who uses Hickap experience irritation or discomfort.


    However, if you find that your skin reacts when you use Hickap's products, you should stop using them immediately. If the discomfort persists for a longer period, you should consult a dermatologist.


    The reaction can have many different causes, but it is likely that you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients in the product.

    If you know you have sensitive skin, it may be wise to test skincare products on your arms before using them on your face.

    Product questions - Make-up brushes

    Yes, they are. Our makeup brushes are not made from animal hair.

    Hickap's Brushes with high-quality synthetic bristles work just as well as brushes with animal hair. Here are some of the benefits of using a synthetic makeup brush:

    • They are easier to clean.
    • The synthetic hairs repel bacteria and dirt better.
    • It is hypoallergenic. Many people are allergic to different types of animal hair.
    • A synthetic brush sheds less hair and thus lasts significantly longer.
    • They work with both liquid and powder-based products.

    The handle is made of birch and aluminum. The bristles are made of synthetic hair (taklon). 

    Yes, they are hypoallergenic, unlike animal hair brushes. 

    Yes, all our products are completely animal cruelty-free. 

    All our makeup brushes are vegan, which means that they can be washed with soap and detergent. Preferably do not wash with shampoo as this does not clean the makeup brush as well. Clean with the soap or detergent thoroughly and then rinse under lukewarm water. Hold the brush downwards under the faucet so that not too much water gets into the shaft as the glue that holds the brush can dissolve. Then dry the brush lying on a towel.
